Daylight low tides at Pismo Beach, suitable for the harvest of Tivela stultorum.
NOAA Station 9412110 · Port San Luis, California
This almanac lists every low tide at Pismo Beach for the current and following year that meets two conditions: the low tide must occur between sunrise and sunset (since clamming is permitted only from one half-hour before sunrise to one half-hour after sunset, this guarantees a full half-hour of legal working time on either side of the low), and the tide must be +2.0 ft MLLW or lower (the practical upper limit at which clams can still be reached).
Tides are color-coded by working depth. Use the filters below to show only the conditions you care to clam in — or only weekend dates if you're planning a camping trip.
